McNair's agent expects QB to be traded to Ravens today

Bus Cook, the agent for Titans quarterback Steve McNair, said he expects McNair to be traded to the Baltimore Ravens at some point today.

According to Cook, the Titans and Ravens have discussed trade possibilities today.

"I think there will be a trade done some time today, probably sooner than later," Cook said. "McNair is aware of the talks. He'll be fine to move on. The Ravens are a very competitive team. He can take them to the Super Bowl. He is getting ready to go to Baltimore.''

Titans officials decline comment.

Anything that could hamper Vince's development is a good thing (where's that devil horns smley?). What they will have this season, at QB at least, is the '95 Oilers revisted.

McNair would have been a perfect mentor for Young. I'm surprised they didn't go into it with that mentality. It's probably a money thing.

I wish him well with the Ravens. He's always been one of the players I've had a lot of respect for. Dude is a warrior and gritty like old school football.

I think Billy Volek would be fine to start for a year. Not like the titans would be competitive this year anyways.

I think Volek is better than most people give him credit for. I want to say he had back to back 5 TD games when McNair was out a couple years ago. The Titans will survive....unfortunately.

Wowee! Kerry Collins....like any other teams were beating down his door. Ravens will wait till Titans have to release McNair.

Kerry Collins would be a good #2. Vince needs to become adept at carrying a clip board for a year as the #3 QB.
