I'll be the first to admit that I wanted RB. I still think he's the best player in the draft.
But, Mario has some serious talent, and I'll be glad to see what he can do for this team. There are people in the league that have him as their highset rated player.

Mario is not a project you are not rated on some boards as the #1 talent in college football if you are a project. What do you know about assessing DL talent??

It's amazing how people get so worked up over a player, when they haven't even played a down of professional football yet. Dude, no one knows who is going to be a star or a bust. For all we know Reggie McNeal might be a better QB than all of the top QBs in the draft. Some RB no one knew anything about could outshine Reggie Bush. etc.

I hope the Texans do well this season. Well enough to shut up all of the naysayers, etc.

mann forget everyone who is talking mess about the texans. really i mean i seen reggie bush play a couple of games and i really didnt think he was all good. i mean look at what he did against texas NOTHING AT ALL. Who cares what anyone thinks about the pick? It's made, I hope that Williams is a stud and if he isn't, well, I'm sure the team will figure that out when they get there.

Personally, I wanted D'Brick. When I heard that Pitts had been moved inside, I got a little thrill that D'Brick might be our choice, trade down or no. Still, if Williams can get 10+ sacks, good. And if he doesn't and draws extra blockers away from Weaver, Smith, Johnson and whoever else plays with him, all to the good.

Who knows? Maybe they'll line him up in the backfield at the goalline... He could be good for a couple of tds a year...
