And no, I'm not "done" with the Texans. I'm just feeling pessimistic right now. Don't say that the front office always knows better than the fans, because there ya go. |

I have the upmost respect for the Texans, but wow. They blew it here.. Big time.
1) Bush is a rare talent. The fastest back in the draft and the shiftiest. Stronger then he looks. Heisman Winner. Compared to Gale Sayers...even by Gale Sayers! Yet the Texans passed on him. If you don't think this is going to potentially haunt them, you're wrong. He is also a kick returner and another receiver to open up the offense, not just an RB. His ability to impact the entire field is huge. 2) Mario Williams has been inconsistent his entire career. He has the raw skills to be an elite game changer on defense, but is he really worth the number 1 overall selection? Shouldn't they have traded down, if they really thought the Saints would take him, and gained a pick and addressed their need at tackle? Either way they would have gotten Mario or Brick with the 4th pick, and I would argue given David Carr's woes, Brick is more important.
