I did some research, espn did a mock draft today, and I pulled some names from the top 5 picks from every position to see who would still be available in the second round, tell me who ya'll would like to see us pick.
CB- Richard Marshall (Fresno), Ashton Youboty (Ohio State), Cedric Griffen (Texas) LB- Roger Mcintosh (Miami), Thomas Howard (Texas-Elpaso) OT- Eric Winstrom (Miami) OG- Taitusi Lutui (USC), Max Jean Giles (Georgia), Fred Mauta (USC) DE- Tamba Hali (Penn St.), Chris Goncong (Cal Poly), Mathias Kiwanuka (Boston College), Darryl Tapp (Virgina Tech) TE- Mercedes Lewis (UCLA), Leornard Pope (Georgia), Anthony Fasano (Notre Dame) |

I would have to say Winstrom or Lutui (could put pitts back at tackle)
Almost has to be a lineman |

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing but there are still some big dogs in the TE Department, and I know we need another corner, and then at the LB spot, thats tough. I wouldn't want to be in they're shoes!

OT Winston would be my choice, but a couple of the DE's look real good as well. Many reports I have seen had the kid from Penn State and Boston College both ranked as 1st rounders.

The only thing I have against choosing a OT in the second round is that I think that is too high to pick a OT, denver really never had studs on their line, and they did a great job, I think we could pick up one in like the 3 to 4 round, one that fits Kubiaks mold. I would really like to pick either Mercedes Lewis or Leanard Pope, Or the best DE available since we are not getting Williams.

Marshall the CB from FSU is a good one. Yes, I from Fresno, but we have produced some good players over the years. Last year Mankins went to NE and started. Marshall is in the same league talent wise as Mankins. One other player I like is Shack listed as an OG. He is again like Mankins. Not well known, but a top notch player. Both of these guys could be sleepers. I just want the Texans to take a close look, because I think they are worth that at the least.

Winston... period
Tapp Will probably still be there in round 3, Hali Im just not impressed with I think he is over rated. Lutui not as much of a need since we moved McKinney to Guard. Of the corners Youboty would be my choice if winston was off the board. Kiawunuka would be my 3rd choice. To me he just seems like he would be strictly situational has had troubles with certain OL moves. If Joppru is healthy we have no need for a 4th TE especially this high.
