As far as how? His size and motor are awesome. He was great at Senior Weekend and it would be nice to see him here.

Duce fits our scheme perfectly. Further, he would put a vet on the pine
and keep the position for a very long time. As soon as he is picked, HE becomes our best offensive lineman. And if they do Bite the Prince Reggie apple, he helps the overall pass protection to the point where Carr gains a little bit of confidence in the pocket. A lot of people knock his size. Not standard for a zone blocking scheme. However, he has amazing feet and quickness. He knocks down his assingment and gets to the second level with a nasty attitude. He would be my lock for 33, if right cornback wasn't so shakey. Everyone else on the board want's Miami. I could live with that although I think it is a redundant pick if you're standing pat on Pitts @ LT. Also, Denver rarely takes a gaurd that early. However, been awhile since Denver was an expansion Club with only one Day one young o-lineman on the roster. Don't know if Denver has ever led the league in sacked QBs ? Also rare that Denver locks into a day one RB. I guess this could be the year for Kubes to break two templates. Since we've had a bit of a checkered history with our #2's, I'm doubtful we'll take him @ 33. He'll be gone by 65. You can book that. Last edited by threetoedpete; 04-24-2006 at 05:20 AM. |
