Default Crazy thought

Reggie Bush was the punter for his high school team. Imagine the problems this could cause for opposing special teams if we use him at that position.

Heavy mind games.

So was Vince, and he could punt decent enough to be used in a pooch punt situation like Cunningham was, and Roethelisberger last year. His ability to run and throw could open up some options on short yardage 4th downs right outside of field goal range...

Of course punting isn't unusual for high school stars...

More worried about getting him on our roster before I worry about his number...

Bush is a very versatile player , he could line up at any number of positions and cause concern for the opposing defenses . However , I Would Not line him up as the punter . That would be SCREAMING to the defense .... this is a fake punt .... Unless Bush was lined up there multiple times and actually punted the ball .... there is too much potential for injury to him in the actual situation of punting the ball ...Thats why teams waste a space on their roster for a punter

Versatile ? Yes . Punter ? NO !

That would save us a lot of money too if we could sign him as a punter.
