message board mock - Houston Texans Message Board & Forum

i was wondering if the site was going to hold another message board mock before the draft? I know the last one didnt fare to well, maybe we can get only the people who participated efficiently?

I was going to host another one but we didn't have solid participation in the first one and I had to deal with an unexpected death so I wasn't exactly up to investing in the time it takes to oversee another one....I usually host these things and wasn't really in the mood, but nobody stepped up and took it over, so I killed the forum. You guys can run what you want, and I can help a little bit, but if you guys do not take the initiative it I won't force it forward like I usually do every year in our traditional multi-participant mocks.

i'd be more then willing to help start one.. all i would need is the draft to be stickied and maybe if you could vinny private message me a list of people that come off the top off your mind as good owners for the mock.. and of course ill need people to be interested.

I'll help as much as I can for now. You may want to develop some sort of policy dealing with deliquent or absent picks so the draft doesn't stall. I'll PM you tomorrow with some ideas and stuff.

The draft is in roughly 2 weeks. Not enough time to run a good mock. Maybe next year.

I'd be in, but this would have to be a quick moving mock. I really don't know if there is enough time left to do one this year.

I'm around my computer frequently so would have no trouble picking timely. I would think you need folks to take on 3-4 teams or you face a serious slowdown. That or 5 hour time limits during normal hours. Anyways I'd like to help out if we can get this together.
