"Where he was mainly responsible for gumming up the interior with the Titans, in Houston Smith will be responsible for occupying multiple blockers and making the occasional pass rush."

He's not a sack specialist. He is a plug up the line guy. Dont expect 20 sacks from him. The 3-4 defense utilizes the linebackers, and give them the best oportunitys to make plays.

Default Robaire Smith

I just caught an interview with him on the NFL Network's, TEXANSCAM. He's going to be a great addition to this team, without a doubt. He also feels Dunta and Babin are, "Way ahead of the curve, as they go up against Bradford and AJ". That was as close to verbatim as possible. He's going to blow up some RB's and QB's, IMHMFO!

not really...Calmus has been doing a neat job. But for sure Robaire will be a great addition to Houston's D. Maybe his problem is to get adjusted to the 3-4 scheme...and being the talented player he is, he will undertand the role better when the reg. season starts.

Is not easy to get used from the 4-3 scheme to the 3-4 one.
