Ricky Williams
Looks like ricky's fate will be decided on monday for violating the substance policy again....unfortunately it wasnt for marijuana this time and people seem to think he will contest it. The alleged substance that flagged his exam is an herb that he ingested as part of his spiritual and yoga experiences.

i didnt mean it as i was hoping it was....more along the lines of him possibly sitting for a year and he didnt even smoke any weed which is what he was busted for before....sorry...guess i should have explained a bit more

Everything i've heard or read has Ricky being a model citizen -- his teammates have given him nothing but praise. Ricky looked awesome at the end of last season in the starting roll - I really hope he wins his appeal.

He will win it...If he had a legit reason like that to do it then he's good. Maybe be fined.

ok seriously in this NFL
Beat your wife. Ok just don't wake up the neighbors. DUI. You were checking the radio right? Get busted with a hooker. Long as she was legal. Busted during weekend coke binge. It was the hooker's right? Smoke weed probably stay at home and play video games. Let's Levy major fines. Suspenions are in order. Let's talk forever about what a disapointment you are. Seriously. He didn't beat his wife. He hasn't robbed anyone. He hasn't killed anyone. But hey the guy smokes pot. He's evil.

But wasn't that the reason for his previous suspensions? Pot?
I do believe Ricky and i do hope the NFL if this is true makes the right decision not to suspend him. |

while i agree to the basic point of the post, in that smoking weed isn't nearly as bad as killing/raping/robbing/etc, the fact is he's been caught THREE times. if your job is on the line, your career is in jeopardy, and you could lose your KIDS, if you keep getting caught, i can't feel bad for him.
