Your next 5 are awful. Horrible needs and player projection. You took 3 FS's and a CB/FS. A very crappy RB in the 3rd round, and a WR who struggles at holding onto the ball in the third.

If they end up with more than one 2nd rounder, I'd look at nabbing Winston with #33 and then perhaps Darnell Bing with the other.

Sounds like a SS. Big hitter, plays well close to the line, etc...

love the d'brick, cromartie and ko picks...
after that i would change everything...some of these probably wont fall this far but anyway #65- davin joseph #66- daryn colledge #67- we've filled nearly all our needs so id take any of eslinger, rocky, wilkerson, rb, te edit: actually this would be an excellent trade for us if the players we want fall Last edited by Maddict5; 03-28-2006 at 06:20 AM. |

okay why so many safeties... cc brown is our ss jamal lord should be his backup the first two finish our depth at that position the third one is 6'3" 248 and runs to the ball good transition to lb but will be special teams player while learning... the wide rec is 6'3" weighs 225 and has a lot of nfl scouts saying late 2nd early 3rd i wonder who i would listen to on evaluation of player talent... 3rd i did draft a guard in late rounds just not one ever one here is in love with just a good drive blocker who could develop... and the running back here isn't as bad as you would have me believe just not a superstar just a football player

Basket has good size, but sup-par speed, questionable hands, and has displayed the innability to learn from coaches which was on display at the senior bolw. Bing will not be converting to LB. He is fast enough and has enough to play SS in the NFL. He is better than Thomas Davis IMO, but he is only the 5th or 6th best S in the draft. He does not warrent the pick, and does not come close to addressing a need. Getting ONE (1) OG in the FIFTH (5th) round does not even provide the needed depth. McNeil, if you watch his tape, is not very quick, is slow getting out of his stance, lacks hand punch, and plays too upright. He has minimal potential, and is a bad choice. The RB from Virginia, Lundy, is actually quite bad. He was aided by a studly offensive line anchored by D'brick and an athletic QB who could run. The RB from VTech and West Virginia are both better, and thats just staying in the state of Virginia. Lundy is slow, shows minimal cut-back ability, no power, and does not have a second gear. His vision is piss-poor as well. You should actually watch the tapes before you compile a mock.

DOH..thats what you get for doing alot of reggie bush mocks.joseph would be a solid contributor on day 1. eslinger was picked as a replacement for flanagan after a year or 2..but i suppose we've hodgson so maybe take somebody else with that pick... but whoever we'd take would be an injury replacement/future starter as most of our needs would've been filled.... i meant that we should take 2 o-line to start, and maybe another for depth..not 3/4 rookie starters edit: also i saw a mock and the titans have #39 instead of #35..not sure who's right |

baskett is the one who gil has raved about because of his ability to go over the middle and make difficult catches even holding onto the ball when injured on play.. but again i can't tell you what you see on tape. but it is all good, peace |

Anything that puts brick on the team I'm for. I hope you do another one. I think we're locked @ SS. So indulge yourself @ the 33. With brick on the team , Pitts swings to left gaurd. Depending on your preference... personally I like the risk reward with Cromartie. If he busts at corner, makes a very fine FS. We're loaded at SS. How about a DE , Mike @ 33/35...TE ? Really liked the 129. He's big he's fast, might make a heck of a zone blocking gaurd in a couple of years. Nice try for a "on the road guy". |
