I feel the position that we are weakest on and I have heard very little on is MLB. I think trading down with Tennessee for very little (first next year or a second this year) puts us in the 3rd spot and we can look at what's left of Bush/Ferguson/Williams/Hawk. I feel if Hawk is there he would not be a bad fill for the MLB position, he has the size and speed needed for the position and would be there for 8-10 years barring injury. might be a bit high for him, but it fills a big need and we get a little something in return.

Why would Tenn trade up?
They like both Leinart and Cutler, are picking 3rd and neither the Saints or Texans are taking a QB. |

the treat that the Jets are moving up to #2 and I don't think that everyone is sold on Cutler going that high. When it's all said and done, I think there is a larger difference between Lienart to Culter and Young than everyone is thinking. Plus Norm Chow is in Tennessee and he might really push hard for it. Not taking to much in compensation might just be the trick.

I don't think Hawk is worth the #3 pick and do not like the idea of passing up on Reggie Bush and Mario Williams to target A.J. Hawk unless we're offered a huge trade for that.

No way I want hawk at #3, even if they gave us the farm to move up. If I really wanted Hawk, I would be safe at around 7.

Would likely cost the Texans next years 1st rounder .... worth it ? .... Maybe depending on how improved the team is.

I don't think that the Jets are going to trade up. They are close to trading for Patrick Ramsey which would give them both Pennington and Ramsey on the roster. Both are capable of starting.
I believe the most likely scenario for the top 5 is 1. Bush 2. Ferguson 3. Leinart 4. Williams 5. Hawk |
