Think of it like this, They won six in a row after they were 3-7, they have 3 good receviers, including a Great one in Chris Chambers. They have up and coming RB in Ronnie Brown, and Good coach in Nick Saban, if Daunte is restored to 2004 form, they could deeep.

I agree as well although I thought you could get him for a 3rd. Hopefully Kubiak as equal success as Sabin in his first year.

I guess I cannot get the images out of my head of Culpepper fumbling like a high school tailback and badly overthrowing receivers. The few Vikings games I caught ... besides the one where he torched our silly Fangio defense.

I remember his numbers back in the day but I didn't really watch the games enough to comment on his skill or the possible resurrection thereof. If you say he can do that same thing again, well I guess we will just wait and see.

And as for the Dolphins, 5 of those last 6 wins came against nancy teams, with NE (I believe, if I am remembering this correctly) resting their starters most of that one "legitimate" game as they had already clinched the division.

Do not get me wrong, Saban is a very solid coach and the Dolphins have a lot to look forward to, but I hardly see them beating the more solid, well-rounded, deep AFC teams this year or the next, for that matter.

Great move by the fins, and Brees list of suitors just dropped to one, especially since the Lions signed Kitna. I have a feeling they balked at Brees stupid high asking price, and that led to them pulling the trigger. Easy playoff team this year now, and a dangerous one at that. See what good coaching, and a couple of key moves can do?

Looking forward to seeing Culpepper & the Fins here this fall. Should be an interesting game with Capers coaching the Miami defense, and ex-Dolphin DC Richard Smith coaching ours.

I would like to know is who is gonna QB the Vikes now? Do they have someone on the bench or they gonna try and trade up to grab one of the 3QB's coming out of college? Inquiring minds want to know........

The Vikings will likely look at second round QBs or whatever QB that may slip, but that is a far fall. This draft just got more interesting and the top picks just lost a slight bit of value.

The Vikings have Brad Johnson(Rob Johnson....... they've got a johnson) that helped make their season respectable. They aren't hurting for a QB.. not yet anyway.

They have Brad Johnson. They will be just fine. Remember, he is the old man who took the Bucs all the way a few years back. I would rather have Brad QB the vikes than Culpepper the turn over machine.

Culpepper will be better in Miami though.

After last season, and his cap count, yes. Brad has football smarts. Carr is taking longer to progress due to the expansion team, and other various factors.
