StLouisRams.com reports free agent LB Will Witherspoon has agreed to a six-year contract with the St. Louis Rams. Witherspoon will be introduced at a 4 p.m. CT press conference.

Updating previous reports, Pat Yasinskas, of the Charlotte Observer, reports St. Louis Rams LB Will Witherspoon signed a six-year contract worth $33 million. The deal includes $15 million in bonus money.

I know he was too steep for us but he was my favorite left out there. The Rams are definitely upgrading the D.
