Default Carr's Wonderlic Score

Does anyone know what Carr scored on this? Sorry if this is a repost. I was just curious.

Any idea how many questions and how it's scored per question? I took their sample questions and thought...If a person can't answer these questions with, to quote Rush, half their brain tied behind their back...somethings wrong. I quit at question 10 or 11 just because they were BORINGLY EASY.

Some are extremely easy, but they get harder as you go, getting very hard later on in the test. Since you only have 12 minutes, it's not as easy as it sounds. Most "normally" smart people will score between 20 and 25 before running out of time. If you get over 30, you are very bright, and over 35, you are pushing mensa high levels. If you get into the 40's, you are pushing genius level iq's, and the questions in that area are very hard. The ones you see on the news are like the frist 10 or 15, which are VERY easy.

It's a common test in the corporate world also...I've taken it a few times myself.

Here's a sample that's timed. Scored 8 out of 9. By the time I scrolled up to the top there was 48 seconds still to go and I tried to see what i missed on number 2 before I got to the top. Figure it took all of 1 min or less to complete. Pretty cool.

See score table...according to Wonderlic.

Quote:
A breakdown of the scoring looks like this:

50= highest possible score, superior intelligence
21= average intelligence
14= equivalent to unskilled worker
Below 14= moron

You will have to pay for it. The questions you see on the net are the softball questions and most are put out there to help make fun of Youngs score....immature press? sure....they always are. I could probably guess your score...but you may not want the guess.

That isn't an "untimed version"...the test is a timed test. You can't have a "version" of the test if it cherry picks the easy questions on no timetable. What that is, is some fool cherry picking the easiest questions and throwing it out for the gossip hounds and the National Enquirer set.

Never heard of Wonderlic...or I've never committed it to memory that is. As to knowing what a true sample is or a cherry picked example, I couldn't tell you. Just googled, found and shared.

I took a wunderlic test a few years ago in a job interview.

I seem to rememeber being told (either by the test text itself or by the test taker) to skip ahead to find questions I could answer quickly.

I ended up getting a 31 that way.

I only answered 32 or 33 questions on the test before time expired.

I had blamed it on my slow reading (30 pages and hour folks!), but I guess most people have trouble finsihing.

And yes the questions were much harder than the ones shown in that sample test.

I seem to remember a lot of algebraic equations and visual logic puzzles on mine.

Took a Management test for another company I worked for and it could've been a Wonderlic. The test was more geared to find out if you were a go with the flow person, sales type person, or an ax murderer. Should've left my ax at home.

I scored 11/15 while taking 5 minutes on the ESPN sample test...of course, I'm not that smart nor claim to be...I don't know.

At the same Interview, I took a seperate test for personality, it said I was an analytical introvert that only cared about personal relationships.

somehow, I still got the job....

Now that is a smart idea! You would think that agents would be telling their clients the same thing!

But the Wonderlic is so overrated as it relates to football players. Perhaps it's an evaluation tool with some merit, but how important of a tool is debatable. In a tool box, it's more like the barely used little specialty hex wrench, but should not be considered a hammer or screwdriver (ie. actual playing time in real games!).
