Default Reggie Nc Neal.....4.41 and 4.37 offical combine times!

Live on NFL Network, Reggie Nc Neal ran the fast time of a QB, un-official time of 4.41 on 1st run, just ran the second run of an unofficial 4.37. Haven't ran the last time yet. Getting faster as they go.....I think we should take a look at him if he is on the board 2nd day.

Don't have to get it from anything. If you have NFL access, the Indy Scounting Combines is on Live right now. Saw him run both times. He's in Group 6 and to verify as well Satana Moss's lil brother, ran a best time of a 4.34 in his second unofficial run. Check tomorrow's Chronicle or watch Sports Center tonight. Or if you have Cable, turn to channel 104. My information if fact not make believe.

Why would we want a quitter and a malcontent?

There isn't anyone at the combines with some kind of flaw with them. I think he can be a productive player in the NFL and a good second day aquistion. Also, the pro's are different from college, this is a job and unlike college you are just a name and a number until you prove other wise. Last, Coach Fran didn't hold anyone accountable for anything and that's the reason A&M had the season they had. I serious doubt anyone would take any crab from a rookie trying to prove himself. If you can get him in the 5 round, why not take a chance on him? Oh and his official time was a 4.35 on NFL access.

Exactly. That's why I say, why not take a chance if he is there on the 2nd day? He had a nice arm, make pretty good throws, and can run pas DB's if necessary like someone else that is touted. He is somone I believe you can take a chance with, let him study in a system and if he doesn't take or make progress that first year, change positions and have a very nice wideout.....can you say Randle El anyone?

yep my thought exactly as who i'd compare him to. Roster him as a quarterback and play him as an athlete. What about your thoughts OG on Jason carter? ...Funny I'm not an aggie fan at all...in fact i hate the aggies but i wouldn't mind picking up Reggie late. Like he could be worse possibly then Banks or Ragone?

Being an Aggie and watching him play for the past three years, I hope he gets a legitimate shot at the pros. Reggie has shown signs of greatness, but has also been very inconsistant with his play. Last I heard, Reggie didn't want to make the switch to WR. A change of heart may be beneficial to his career.

OK, it just seemed like he quit on his team by not playing for his last time ever against UT. That is my take but hey, I could be wrong. I heard that from other A&M people too. Conflicts with the coach and team. The guy could be a good receiver. I would never take him as a QB though. He had a touch problem....throwing 100 mph on screen passes...my A&M friends died every time.

He is another Aaron Brooks as far as I am concerned. Electric one game and mentally absent the next. No thanks!!!

i think he can be better then randle el.

he is 6'2", so he provides a bigger target
hes is faster
his arm is just as good, if not better

He won't be another Randle El. He has fantastic straight line speed but nowhere near the shiftyness and agility of Randle El. If you don't give him a head start he has problems making upper level defenders miss. He has a really strong arm, and once he gets some space he's incredibly hard to catch if he has a seam to run with the ball. The problem is he makes some terrible decisions passing the ball and he tries to do too much by himself. He won't amount to much more than an Aaron Brooks type in the NFL as a QB, IMO. He could probably make the switch to a wide receiver, but I doubt he'd be as successfull as Randle El has. I think he could make a decent back-up a la Garrard in Jacksonville with some coaching.

Default I was thinking the same thing early

But that was before the latest drama with him. He comes from a good family ...a good school ...good people around him ...that must mean that HE'S THE PROBLEM!

You can deal with a knucklehead, like T.O, at other positions ...but not at QB. I like the kid ...I think he's an exceptional talent ...especially on day 2 or even 3 the way he's going ...but that would be a stretch.

The draft is only over two days.

With solid coaching and being in a steady system for more than just one year at a time, McNeal is going to be leading some team to victoriesl in the near future. A&M has had nowhere near the talent, especially on defense, as they had in the past and they've been in a perpetual coaching carousel since McNeal got there.
