IMO, now that we are switching to a 4-3, Peterson would drastically improve our defense. What I like about him is that, not only is he a playmaker, but he is also young. I know its hard for us to get big time FA to come here, but would it be worth it to overpay him. The downside is that the chances for Bentley, Hope, or any other free agent would drop. I personally think it is worth it.

He just came from a team that almost beat us out of the 1st pick this year and had the 1st pick last year. He won't come here.

If we signed peterson our starting line backers would be Wong, Greenwood, Peterson. now what happens to babin do we trade him or keep him as depth same with peek

Trade Babin and Greenwood...Keep peek...Find a replacement for MLB because I think greenwood is garbage!

Thats kinda what I was looking at...However if we do decide to keep greenwood then at least trade babin and get the best package/deal we can on him an then out of the draft pick up Thomas Howard from UTEP to take up in the LB position

Babin most likely will be the weakside DE. We'll have to wait and see how he does at it.
I don't think "OVERPAYING" for anyone is a good idea, unless they're going to do away with the salary cap.
