Vick needs cheese to go with his whine

On this night, Vick never got the chance to display his arm or scrambling ability. After handing off twice to Warrick Dunn, Vick dropped back to throw on third down and was nabbed by safety Will Demps, who received virtually no resistance after blitzing up the middle.

"I was mad, I was upset," Vick said. "They blitzed me knowing I wasn't going to run. They can do what they want in preseason. I'll see them again one day."

I am sure Ray Lewis is just trembling.

I can understand why he is upset. He's worked hard all offseason in the new system and wanted to show how he has improved. However, it was the first preseason game and isn't that big of a deal.

I think the Ray Lewis vs TO matchup will be even better. Anyone think TO will avoid going over the middle?

There is generally not alot of game planning, and granted, teams usually keep their offense and defense pretty vanilla, but I got news for Vick - It's football dimwit. Next time, come out in a dress, and put a flag in your stocking hose if you don't want to get hit ya pantywaist. :hehe:

What I dont understand is everybody saying Lewis is going to crush TO when he goes over the middle, but that would mean that TO went over the middle and showed that he isnt afraid of Lewis.

I would be pissed to, the LG didn't pick up Demps, and Warrick Dunn didn't pick up demps. If it was a screen your supposed to atleast slow the guy down, both guysmissed completely.
He came completely unevaded to the QB.

It's also a pretty ****ty thing to do to a QB, have him take one snap for a pass get sacked and pull him out of the game. On a national stage the only thing you got to do was hand the ball off and get sacked. No Qb likes to get sacked, and no QB wants to let 1 play linger in his mind for a week. Thats what Vick has to deal with right now. Mr. Blank was probally on the phone screaming, Don't **** with my wallet!!!! From then on Vick rides pine.

You think Mike didn't want to get a few snaps against the Ravens first team for some revenge? I guess blowing his comments out of porportion as a whiner is fair. In a league where most players complain about preseason, or camp, Vick wants to be in the game, and he is a lil brat for it? Come on....

It's just a preseason game, god I love football

It's not the first trip over the middle that will prove TO isn't afraid of Ray Lewis, or the first trip he gets hit by Ray Ray. It's that second time he has to cross the middle, and he gets a case of the alligator arms. That is of course if he ever gets up after the first hit. I think the biggest thing about it is that Ray Lewis was insulted by TO. We've all seen what he does to people who haven't even insulted him, and there is a lot of interest in finding out what he'll try and do to TO.

I saw that play...No one touched Demps...besides,thats the PERFECT way to stop mike...blitz ur fast DBs...u'll stop him from scrambling away from the pressure of a SS,FS or CB Blitz.
