Since we just signed David Carr, how much cap space do we still have this year? I know the cap went up to like 95 Million.

It's hard to say for sure, since the official salary cap number hasn't been released. The NFL and the union are still negotiating, and there is speculation that free agency could be pushed back as far as April. Keith at houstonprofootball.com has put up an unofficial Texans salary cap page where he has the '06 cap at $94 million and the Texans about $9 million under (post Carr signing).
