After watching the Texans this horrible season I feilt that some of the players on are team, if they continue to stay will effect their potenial. How about trading down in the 2006 NFL Draft and trading away Jerome Mathias a Pro- Bowler for another first round pick and D. Robinson and D. Davis for another pick in the first round. Imagine us doing that and getting Bush, D'Brick, and another WR like Micheal Breaston who is a good WR/KR.

No way in heck I trade Mathis, he was the main reason to watch the Texans this year.

While were at it, lets trade away AJ, Pitts, and Travis Johnson.

Prepare for an onslaught from the MB. The reasons are too numerous to name to even consider this from dealing away established players/best players to salary cap hit. That idea will get us the 1st pick in the draft next year too.

i have a question, who do we trade down with and how do we still get bush and d'brick? that would mean that we trade to like 4 and then use the extra picks from that trade throw in dunta and jerome and get another top 5 pick. no one would be dumb enough to do that.
how about we trade our starting 22 for the first 22 picks and get a whole new team?

First of all, this is a horrible idea. We cannot trade away solid players on our team. Mathis is a solid return man and a potential number 2 receiver. DD has been the heart of our offense and with Kubiack coming in will likely lead a stable of backs to a great runnign season. DUnta is honestly our best D player and a potential probowler. Second, you are severely overpricing some of our players. Jerome Mathis is not worth a first rounder. He was a mid rounder last year(4) and is not even close to be worth a first rounder. Yes he was a probowl player, but face it, he isnt even close to being worth a first round selection, let alone a HIGH first round selection. I really like Dunta. I really do. But he is not really worth a first rounder. In my opinion he is not an elite CB as of yet. Last year an elite CB was traded: Patrick Surtain, and even in that weak draft, he did not warrent a first rounder. Also, there are several great CBs in this draft, thus lowering the potential value of Dunta. DD is also not worth a number 1, even if packaged with DUnta. RBs have very little value in terms of trade. There are always solid backs coming into the league and always solid ones available in FA. Last year the hawks could not get a second rounder for Shaun ALexander, a man who was a few yards from the rushing title. So what did he do this year? Just win the MVP. And now he and Edge are potentially on the table. RBs are a dime a dozen in this league.

No,Were not give anything on offense away.I'm not a loser and it's time to put this team on the map with a real Texas Spirit! The Texans are a Eye sore to this great state and the additude has to change.I'd take Vince because he knows what it means to have spirit of a winner..
Were taking this division! All you rivals that think we suk and you own us,everythings changed. Were no where near playing your weak game..Just remember that every time you slip well be sitting there to take your players You have a lot more to lose then we do..
