last year, Tiki Barber of my beloved Giants held the ball against his body in a way that greatly reduced his fumbles. Why aren't more rb's gripping the ball like that?

maybe you don't have as much speed and alot of RB rely on speed, but I'm not much of a RB so thats just my opinion

what works for him doens't work for everyone.
I think if more rb's just learned to keep the ball on their OUTSIDE arm instead of being one arm runners as I recall tiki being for the longest then fumbles lost would be reduced.
