With Kubiak as coach now and rumors of some players following him to H-town, I was wondering what the status of Dan Neil is. The former UT guard was released by Denver prior to this season but never signed on with anyone. Did he retire or can we expect him to become a Texan as well?

He has a long history of injury and is no longer able to play. I do not think he has formerly retired, but last I heard, the guy walked with a noticeable limp.

Too bad. The guy has a ton of accolades and I'd still take him limp and all over Milford Brown.
