I was just curious if anybody knew if anyone from the Texan front office or coaching staff was @ the Senior Bowl practices this week...On the NFL netwrok it said representatives and coaches form most every team was there...With the Texans not having a full staff in place does this hinder talent evaluations for the upcoming draft???

Casserly stayed so the entire Texans scouting staff is in place. Someone is there from the Texans.

Yes there are some people there representing the Texans, whether it be scouts or other personel. Top guys are really dealing with the signing and upcoming press conference for Kubiak.

I am sure we are covered. Especially considering we have 4 picks in first 66 picks. |

Casserly and most, if not all of the scouts are there. (finding the players that Kubiak will tell Casserly to draft)

man, this is the problem with not having a coach in place.....
A coach NEEDS to be at the senior bowl himself. Last year, Parcells shows up at the Senior Bowl looks around..... A D Lineman catches his eye. He gets to have a chat one on one with Marcus Spears from LSU. #20 rolls around in the draft and Spears is still on the board...tada..... of course, the flip side of this is, waiting netted the right man for the job. he is just a little behind the pack now in preparing for next year. I suspect though, a coach like Kubiak has already done some draft homework. |

I wouldn't be too worried. If anything, Kubiak will also have the perspective of some of the players that Denver has been keeping an eye on.
