Default Field Position?

Am I the only one who thinks letting Sharper and Glen go hurt our defense, which in turn hurt our offense?

With two good defensive players that could create great field position for the offensive line to actually score!

I think our DL needs as much attention as our OL.

Just look what Sharper's lil bro did after Green bay released him!

You got a here by letting them go it did seriously hurt our defence. It was a big mistake to let them go

I think our previous coaches hurt our defense which in turn hurt our offense.

Personally, liked both players - but Sharper was coiming up on the big part of his contract (then went to Seattle and was injured) and Glenn was losing a step in his "golden years". So, it hurt in the short term, but probably better in the long term.

It's obvious that the loss of Glenn and Sharper caused our defense to regress. However that regression could lead to the Texans being able to field a much stronger defense in the long run. If we would of kept both of them our defense would of been better but I seriously doubt it would of been good enough to get us into the playoffs. So hopefully loosing Glenn and Sharper will lead us to being able to build a defense with a solid foundation that will be with the team for a long, long time.
