Bing wasnt even the best safty on his team. That white guy next to him was better. Bing goes for the big hit too often, but rarely connects. He is left out of position and does not posess the recovery speed he needs. He is also a SS only kind of guy.

Simpson is a big hitter, but I didn't see him deep in coverage. Huff also can play physical at the line, but did get burned a couple times vs. USC. Landry made a great play getting to the deep out on a cover-2. He also made plays at the LOS in run support. I know he's not the highest rated, but he'd be the guy I'd target for a combination pass coverage and run support safety. |
