Is glenn earl playing some during practice, or is he just doing some rehab stuff with the trainiers? i would like to see him getting a little pt at some point this season.

He is on the PUP list so he cant practice. He does rehab and still works in the 'classroom'

next year will be his time to shine, if he does anything this year it will be on special teams if he isn't put on IR. just look at the other players with acl problems ramon walker in on ir, payne is just recovering and won't be ready until the end of the preseason. we see hi9m at full stregth next year.

Earl is not on the PUP list (that would be Symons, Joppru, and R. Walker).

I saw Earl on the field Monday night. He wasn't wearing pads but he was on the field watching drills.

He said later in a radio interview that he is chomping at the bit to get started but the Texans are taking it slow with him - as they should.

His surgery was in early November so he's ahead of Ramon Walker on rehab. He is about where Tony Hollings was at this time last year. It will probably be next year before we realize everything that Earl is capable of.

I got Earl and Walker confused...

If he does play this year it will probably be on special teams, I agree with F-minus that next year is his time to shine...
