So many possibilities. Our organization may stink on the field, but we have plenty of drama.

McClain is on 610 right now, he just said he envisions Kubiak as HC and Jerry Gray(Grey?) as DC, Longhorn and Aggie, both from Houston, working together. Sounds good to me.

nothing too revealing, but he sure did seem excited from the quotes.

Kubiak can't go anywhere, or declare, until Denver is out of the playoffs. A little patience is needed. |

Yeah, it could be a few weeks before we hire a coach, depending on where certain teams end up in the playoffs. It would be really cool to end up with Kubiak after he scores another Superbowl ring.

how was it that everyone knew charlie would be leaving the pats after the superbowl?
that is what makes me think he can still agree but not become the official HC of the texans yet.

Didn't everyone know that Romeo Crennel was leaving too?
Maybe it can be leaked who the coach is going to be, but they can't officially declare until they are out of the playoffs. |

This is Kubiak, he is a football guy. He will not reveal much because guess what he does not care, he is all about winning games. Do not get me wrong the guy is sincere and has much respect for the organization and the city, but in truth he wants to keep the real information in house.
This being said, I think it will be leaked that Kubiak is being hired sometime next week once all the interviews have been conducted. This is assuming Ferentz does not interview, which I do not think he will. Ferentz is just using us for another job and/or a raise. |

Combine this rumor thread with the John Elway as Texans OC thread and I think I could be a very happy fat man.
Kubiak HC Grey DC Elway OC Bring back our ST coach. Sounds good on paper and I think Carr could end up with some of the best teachers in the game instead of a deffencive HC and an O-line coach as his OC. Bring back Carr. Bring back DD and take some suckers entire draft picks.

a good football player does not mean they are a good coach. Id rather NOT have Elway as OC. I want an ACCOMPLISHED coaching staff.
Even Gray at DC makes me wary... the Buffalo defense only finished two spots above us this last season. |
