Wow, and I thought the hype machine was powerful for Reggie Bush. He was just "The Next Gayle Sayers" and maybe "A lot like Barry Sanders". Young is now the next Carson Palmer, Michael Vick, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, and Brett Favre.

It's like they're trying to make up time or something. "We haven't given this kid enough hype! I don't know how we overlooked him but get some writers on it pronto!"

It's a pit we can't find a way to draft them both. It would be really cool to have Gayle Sayers, Barry Sanders, Carson Palmer, Michael Vick, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, and Brett Favre in our backfield.

BTW, for those of you who don't know, I put a Houston Texans headline grabber on www.texanstalk.com . It scans the net and returns back any relevant new articles on the Texans about every 10 minutes. It makes finding new things on the Texans pretty simple and fast. That is how I found those two articles.

Sure, just sign Carr's bonus, trade him to the Saints along with next years #1 for their 1st(#2) this year and eat Carr's $ on this years cap. The Saints would probably love to get out of even having a #1 this year since they are a pretty unattractive franchise at the moment, and may have difficuties negotiating with their pick as a result...
Since we are in a rebuilding mode, try and restructure contracts and cut players to use this year's cap space.
Cut all dead weight and eat as much $ this year as possible. Or try and balance it out so you can make a few additions, but leave yourself in as good a position as you can for next season (cap wise)...
Hope good coaching can get you 4-6 wins next year and go from there...
