It appears that Brushi has tied with Steve Smith for the comeback player award.
All I have to say is that Steve Smith should be alone with the award. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/200....ap/index.html 103 receptions 1563 yards 12 TD's vs. 36 tackles, and 2 sacks. Give me a break. I know every pats player is the media's favorite son. But Smith destroyed Brushi in terms of production. Smith got robbed...

I don't think Steve Smith is going to care. Just a hunch, but...
Bruschi didn't come back from a bad knee or something. I mean, come on... the guy nearly died about eight months before he returned to the field. Not to mention, his return also coincided with New England's playoff run and the improved play of the D. Coincidence? No way. He's the defensive QB of the team.

Not to take anything away from Bruschi (dude is nails, and I've got lots of respect for him), but Smith probably should have won the award outright. I'm not a big fan of dual (shared) awards. Kinda' cheesy, IMO.
