I think the QB does deserve a little more. He is the leader of the offense. But then again, the Pats have started a different trend. Its called spread the money around. Not drop it in one basket.

In order to spread the money around, you have to have guys willing to sacrifice the money for the wins which is hard to find with the big name stars or early drafted rookies. Then again, you don't have to have all the big name stars to win...just the right talent to work as a team in the type of offense and defense you run.

the next CBA is going to have a 10 million dollar increase to the salarey cap from 80 mill to 90 mill
also more revenue will be included in the defined gross. the Salary cap was just increased 5 million this offseason. Teams just got more money to work with these days. Some inflation, some NFL sucess. |
