Texans Lost Reggie Bush Sweepstakes - Houston Texans Message Board & Forum

There is a big chance now that the texans wont win the reggie bush sweeps. All they had to do was lose to Arizona and jacksonville and now, they are gonna need to lose against the jags and pray that the niners can knock off the rams. Most likely, san fran will lose to the rams and us, bc knowing the texans, they will try and win the game. So now there is a very high chance we wont get the next great RB of the nfl unless san fran doesnt want him, which is very unlikely.

I for one would not be any happier than if we won these last two games as well and ended up with the #6 pick or where ever that would put us. Then we can just draft the OLineman that we should be looking to trade down for anyways and go from there, we might miss out on a few extra picks but we'll either look to be a little more active in free agency or keep more of our guys and let our new coach work on improving them. San Francisco will take Bush if they have the #1 pick and would be our most likely candidate to trade up to get him if we end up with the #1. Bush is not a lock for being the next greatest RB to join the NFL anyways. As an added bonus to make up for the loss of the extra picks, it will instantly eliminate about 200 new discussion threads being started between now and the draft arguing about whether we should draft Bush or make the more intelligent choice of trading down.

Nothings stoppin Houston from finishing 3-13 except maybe finishing 4-12 (Jags are suckin). Niners need Reggie Bush or the picks that come from trading the first pick a lot more than you guys do. This will be clearly displayed when we get our ******* handed to us by the Texans, the second worst team in football.

Thank God for Gore! He don't want to loose his job to Bush, so he's going to go out and have his best game as niner this year 26 carries 189 yards and 2 td's 49ers Win 14-10 Book it!

Besides Carr job is secured so he knows what best for this Franchise his going to tank that game for the Gipper, so look out for Carr to have a bad game...
