Default My dream Draft (Texans 1st round only)

Hopefully the Texans can do this

Texans
Saints
Jets

The Texans force Saints to trade up for Leinart cause no one else will want to come to NO or SA or whereever but Brooks can do at QB.so now its:

Saints - QB Leinart
Texans
Jets

here the Texans take Bush and put the Jets in a pickle. They don't really no to very very important things which are: WTF is up wit Chad and is Martin really out of gas? The Texans do this:

They offer there 2nd round pick and their next yrs pick and maybe even some of the picks they get from the Saints for the Jets 3rd overall pick. The Jets are intrigued because now they can still take care of a huge problem but have even more time to fix it and possibly fix more than 1 position with top 5 values each. If Young Quin Vick Peterson and White (Young and White assuming they stay) all go into the draft next yr or are available for it next yr the Jets won't be able to pass up this chance cause yes Bush is the friggin chosen one but all those other guys are only like a step under. Then with this the Texans can take both DaBrick and Bush.

Why and what could they do with Bush? Well he could lineup as WR or make some crazy things up on returns with Mathis and it never hurts to have 2 good RBs on the same team just look at Staley and Westrook, Williams and Brown, Davis and Foster, Holmes and Johnson. They allow each other to constantly stay fresh and constantly put up those big numbers.

This is a crazy prediction, I no, but if Carroll is hired the Texans will have 4 months + to think of crazy things and who knows they might end up where I have and beleive me Carroll knows what Bush can do and he knows how to use what he can do.

This would be so sweet.

But if the Saints are #2 and we aren't picking a quarterback, why would they draft up 1 slot to take him when they can take him at 2

The saints would take him if they felt like we would be selecting Lienart to deal him away.. Manning/Rivers and Vick/Tomlinson style..

if they thought that.. then their only hope to get their new QB would be to move up to the 1st to avoid us dealing him away..

I see it if season ended today
1. Houston-- Jets trading up to get Bush
2. Jets-- Houston trade down to Tenn to get Linehart
3. 49ers-- take Ahmad Brooks
4. Saints-- Chad Greenway
5. GB-- Deangelo Willians with davenport leaving in FA
6. Tenn-- Houston Ferguson

thats how i see the top 5 going

Interesting huh

This whole thread has just gotten out of hand with these dream drafts and this will be my only post on the subject. Absolutely none of this stuff will happen, but whatever gets you by until the draft comes along...

what i was surprised to see was a lions fan coming in HERE to ask if he thinks we would package a deal them so they can move up to get Leinhart. That is an interesting ideal but dont they have Garcia and how long is his contract for. I know he a vet so he might not play too much longer.

1. Houston -- Houston trades to SF 49ers take Bush
2. 49ers -- Houston then trade down to Detriot which i am guessing would be in top 10 and with the current company will prob end up around 9 or 10.
3. Jets -- Leinhart if you guys think Feidler and Pennington cant do it i dont see why they would make this pick
4. GB -- D Williams
5. N.O -- Ahmad Brooks

then obcourse after that it can go in any order
Arizona, detriot, Oakland, Tennessee, Cleveland, Baltimore, Buffalo

Thats a very reasonable draft.
