I'll give the St Louis Rams credit today, as they fought back and out-excuted us in crunch-time, gaining a win.
I thought our Houston Texans club played hard and with emotion. We just didnt make a few defensive stops in key moments. In terms of offense, a great game. I'm proud of the significant improvement I seen in the offense today. David Carr and Andre Johnson's hook-up was very nice, and Domanick Davis had a few solid runs. I'm excited about this offense. Special teams was pretty good. Kris Brown missed a FG, but made his other attempts. Jerome Mathis set us up with solid field position each return, so I'll give him credit. The challenge for our football team is now to focus on these last 5 games, and fight to win in each one of them. Our team doesnt have quitters, thats a major plus sign. My goal is to be on of the most improved teams in the NFL during these final five games. As far as the fan support today, A+. They cheered us on heavily in Reliant, and I know many of you were doing the same at home. This loss hurts, for sure, but lets suck it up, we still have 5 games filled of oppurtunity. We still have alot of positives to proove, in my opinion. Go Texans

Ooooohhhhhhh yoooouuuuu! You and your undying optimistic outlook on the joy of being a Texan even if Sam Houston were about to surrender to Mexico.
I had a great time today and look forward to seeing if they play another half or two like that next week.

I'm very upset. This was almost like Oilers vs. Bills '93. It ranks up there IMO for this franchise.
It did seem as though Pendry opened up the offense more than in the past. Carr had his best game of the season - b/c he has seen better days here, just not this season. AJ, had his best game as well, of the season. Defense... 6 sacks... but then they let Mr. Harvard torch them down the field. That hurt. Somenone mentioned it in another thread, they've gotta keep putting points on the board when they've got a team down. That's your best protection of the lead. of if you've got them down and they score just answer back w/ the score. Easier said than done, sure, but at least instill that, instead of nursing the lead. Keep on pressing on Texans. Hoping for a new HC and staff for Christmas.
