Would any nfl team throw a game to get a number one draft pick?

we should be thinking about next year too this years too late , why wouldnt you go for the best pick you can get ? put your back ups in give them a chance to proove somthing and see what allyou have

guys know paychecks are on the line and game film has their every move.. I don't(hope) a team would tank a season just to get the #1 pick.. besides no guarantee a pick pans out on the NFL level.

JJ has a job next season with any number of teams .... IF he wants it , If not he can continue to draw a paycheck doing what he's doing .... criticizing other coaches and the players around them .

Capers on the other hand DOES NOT have a job next season .... Playing to win is the ONLY way he can salvage his career no matter how it affects the Texans as he WONT be their coach next year .

Nick Saban came into a win win situation in Miami . His win loss record doesnt matter this season and probably next as well .... He can afford to say and do the things he's doing ... "I dont care what our record is .... I dont care what trhe score is ... We are building a team for the future ."
The NFL may be upset about it but he has the right idea for his team and ... I'd be willing to wager he has the backing of his owners on his stance .
