Since I had to work last night, I decided to do the Thanksgiving thing today.
After consuming the meal I of coure started to feel the effects of my meal. The first thing to come to my mind was the draft. In fact i wrote down the following sceanarios before i took my nap. Scenario 1: Stay and pick Rd1: Fergusson OT Rd 2: Davin Joseph G Rd3a: Greg Threat S Rd3b: Kelly jennings CB Scenario 2: draft down Rd1: Winston(trade with NYJ to 3 and pick up jets 2nd and 3rd or #35 and #67 Rd 2a: Davin Joseph Rd 2b: Bobby Carpenter Rd3a: Greg Threat S Rd3b: Kelly jennings CB Rd3c:Joel Klopfenstein, TE Scenario 3: draft down Rd1: Bush Rd 2+ Rd 3a: traded to draft back into the first round. Pick number 22: Rd 1b: Jon Scott LT Rd3b: Greg Threat or kelly jennings CB Scenario 4: draft down rd1: Winston(trade down to 6 with Arizona and pick up Arizona's 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in 2006 draft and 2nd in 07.) rd2a:Max Jean-Giles G rd2b:Bobby Carpenter LB rd3a: Elvis Dumervil, DE rd3b:Greg Threat S rd3c:Kelly Jennigs CB All trades have been calculated according to the Draft Value Chart(which i looked up and researched after waking up) http://www.degnan.org/dolphins/draftvaluechart.htm Let me know what yall think? Remember if you dont like these: blame the typtophan!

I think that Threat is projected as a second day pick. Other than that they all look pretty good.

Senerio 2 is what im hoping for, except change Winston with Ferguson. Good work and research. Ive been eyeing a draft point chart also lately forming my own mocks.

im torn between senerio 2 and 4
but i believe im going to go w/seneroi #4. Scenario 4: draft down rd1: Winston(trade down to 6 with Arizona and pick up Arizona's 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in 2006 draft and 2nd in 07.) rd2a:Max Jean-Giles G rd2b:Bobby Carpenter LB rd3a: Elvis Dumervil, DE rd3b:Greg Threat S rd3c:Kelly Jennigs CB Future stud LT Future potential G...maybe davin joseph? Solid LB, not great, but best on our team Pass rushing threat, will be a all pro someday Threat is not too high on my list, i prefer dwayne slay...maybe its just me? Solid, rather raw, CB to replace faegens. Great work. i like senerio 2 as well, but i feel #4 has too many benifits to pass up. |

I know many people have wondered why I have placed Theat so high. I think one thing that is absolutly neccesary in the secondary is communication. I figured since I am gonna take the Miami CB, Kelly, I may as well take the Miami Saftey. SInce they have already played quite a bit, they will have already formed some good chemsitry together. Then with Dunta on the other side, I thought we were setting ourselves up for a nice strong secondary unit.

I'll take number 1 with Klopfenstien instead of Threat.
