My vote definitely goes to Reggie Bush on this one. The Texans are not ready to give up on david carr just yet.

Add Ferguson (LT Virginia) to the list.

Winston is better as an overall lineman and fits our system more, not to mention he at least weighs 300 lbs. We have enough small linemen that get pushed around.

We also have wade and riley, so saying we need the biggest linemen is not true. We run a zone blocking scheme, where the linemen slide and move to a "zone." The linemen used in these schemes are not always the largest, hence why wade and wand dont fit our team. |

The closest person you will find to Boseli is Eric Winston. He can be a mauler, and a finess blocker. He is very large and athletic. He is also not limited to only LT. If Winston had not torn his ACL, (?) I forget which one he tore, he would be ranked ahead of Fergueson as the top OT. He was the top LT in the nation, and even in last years draft, would have been the top OT taken. |

If all those players are in the draft hopefully the new gm will have the common sense to trade down a couple spots.

Trade down and take the best available OT. Honestly, I wouldn't care which one. They're all pretty close in ability and each seems to bring something different to the table.
"Other" should be winning this by a landslide. |

If the Texans have the opportunity to draft Reggie Bush, I wouldn't hesitate. I hear that he is a once in a decade running back, ala Barrry Sanders, Eric Dickerson, etc. If Bush is not available, I would move down and get the best OT available either in the draft or by trade. I would concentrate on offensive and defensive linemen. After that, maybe TE or LB. Any upgrade in line play, on either side, is vastly needed.
Living in Southern California, I get to see USC play all the time. And Reggie Bush is the real deal. |
