A ton of hitch passes does wonders for your QB ratings.

It's hard to do anything more than hitch passes when you have no time to throw the ball.

If Carr were a Colt he would not be in the same conversation as Manning . I think what Vinny and the So called Carr Haters club see ( yes I'm a member ) is the same thing that got Heath Schuler and Andre Ware .
Plummer is what 1 for 6 now .

How many of those sacks were Carr's fault. Like running out of bounds or laying down instead of throwing the ball away when he is out of the pocket.

I say bench Carr and give Dave Ragone a chance, what is the worst that can happen we lose the game, we're already 1 - 7.

At the end of the play there was 3:08 on the clock in the 1st qtr after Carr just freaked out because there was modest pressure around him. Note, no one on defense touched him or even came close. He just ran almost immediately to the side-line where there were no receivers and threw the ball out of bounds. He is shell-shocked and costing our team opportunities. Talk all you want about the protection, but it was good on this play and he blew it. On the very drive prior, Peyton Manning was getting more pressure in his face then Carr's faced to this point and he's picking us apart.

I agree wholeheartedly! Ragone certainly couldn't do any worse and there is a chance he could do better.:brickwall

If Ragone is our backup QB of the future, at what point in a losing season do you spare your starter the agony and give the kid some real NFL playing time?

We've got to save DC for next year, since he's obviously our guy for the next couple of years. Why not put Ragone to the test and see what he's made of in the meantime?

They really can't do that YET. Eventhough every fan knows the season is toast, if they did that, the coaches would be saying it and the team would pack it in. Eventhough the odds are low, they are still trying to win games and if they put Rags in then they are only playing for next year. Might see it for the last one or two games. The press announcement would be something like "We will try and shake things up a bit to see if we can win a couple of games so we are starting Rags". They may also generate a sudden "Injury" for David and then put Rags in. IMO, I don't look for any of this until the last 2 games or so. :brickwall
