The Texans aren't that good. Can we get Oliver Luck to come out of retirement?

This team is a lot like the 94 Oilers and is heading for the same record...but only if they can figure out how to win another game.
Actually, this team is more like the '82-'84 Oilers - the sorry assed Biles/Campbell/Studley teams that finished 6-35 over that period. |

Most teams in the NFL have a bad patch during their history. Unfortunately we seemed to have transitioned from a competitive expansion team to a bad to horrible team. We haven't tasted success yet.

actually I heard somewhere that Carr sometimes has dreams about playing for the Oilers and having Matthews and Munchak in front of him ..... or maybe I made it up ...

No we are not the Oilers (Titans), we beat the hapless Browns. They lost to them today.

The Oilers would wait until the AFC championship game to blow up in dramatic fashion. This team doesn't wait till the playoffs.

The Texans are not the Oilers. They won back-to-back AFL Championships in their first two seasons.
![]() Of course, that was the height of the Oilers success until they moved to Tennessee and became the Titans. I'll take Bob McNair any day over Bud Adams. Ol' bottom-line Bud already had five different coaches by this point in Oilers history (season 4)! Plus, what was ever tough about baby blue?!

Both teams are terrible right now obviously and it doesn't really matter. As a former Oiler fan, I am kind of curious as to how the whole "Run Bud out of town crowd" feels now that the honeymoon is over. I think it was ridiculous to run the Oilers away. Especially to not at least protect the colors/ identity. You just flushed it all down the toilet. What the hell is that? I'm still pissed. Makes me feel like you guys have some sarious bad karma and the football gods will ensure you lose forever. I miss the Oilers. This Texans stuff is just stupid. Can't we rewind and do it over again?
