There could be as many as 10 openings league-wide, considering the sad state of the franchises in the NFC North and the obvious openings in Houston, Minnesota, St. Louis and the Saints.

With all of those openings it will make it hard for us to grab a top guy because we are not real close to being a playoff type team.

Pete Carroll = Butch Davis

Both make excellent college head coaches. Both were/are/will be bad NFL head coaches.

I agree. Pete Carroll is the Rick Pitino of the NFL.
