Yeah, it is a travesty that the Heisman has essentially become the best QB, RB or WR on a top 5 team competition.

Woodson also played offense and special teams (kick/punt returner). And there have been far more dominating CBs than Woodson that never sniffed the Heisman.

hmm.....you got a point there. If I was one of the guys doing the voting on the Heisman, it'd be Brady Quinn ( )followed by Elvis Dumervil. Matt Leinart doesn't need another one.

They usually throw a bone to an offensive lineman (Orlando Pace) or defensive player (Sapp, Lavar Arrington, Steve Emtman) with the thinking that they'd come across as if they're considering every position. But it's a joke.
