Robinson seems to be the only life the Texans have. I love this guy and hopes he remains a Texan for a long... long time.

My respect for Robinson grows more and more each day. If they can turn this mess of a season around, it will be because of guys like him who leave it all on the field every week.

I knew we were going to lose the second I saw the offense and defense take the field. Except for two players from each unit, the team just kind of walked out onto the field and already looked asleep. The two players that were bouncing around and trying to get their team ready were Domanick Davis, and Dunta Robinson. The only two who can say they were playing in the game.

There are more losers than winners on this team. This team is playing with no heart. Our coach does not have the ability to determine who the losers are because his goals and philosophy breads losers. A new coaching staff will get this team with a few new players headed in the right direction. Too bad we are saying wait until next year this early in the season.

It's bad playcalling and the players know it just as much as we do. They are being asked to execute plays that defy football logic.

D.Rob is, without a doubt, an awesome player. Hope we can keep him in the long run!

As I have stated in other posts I share your concern. Our best players will find a way to force a trade out of here if things don't improve quickly.

I read that in the Chronic and almost puked. I didn't realize that 6 were less than 5 yards though. Good thing I got my stomach under control.

I agree, he is one of the few players on the team who deserves to be out there. I am sure we will hear the ole "sick Dog" comments from Dom the rest of the week. To me if we are using dog analogies its more like this:

Year 1 - New Puppy - Cant do anything wrong, still in the training process. May crap on the floor alot but you understand

Year 2 - Puppy learning new things, still craps on the floor a bit but also does things to impress you as well, shows signs of learning

Year 3 - Puppy is growing, closer to full grown, Full of energy all the time. Always puts everything into what it is doing, Looking like a good dog in the making

Year 4 - In thinking about the future the owners Neuter the puppy to prevent other puppys. Puppy loses zeal for life. Puppy lives to eat, crap and sleep. Sits on the couch for the next 9 years.

Puppy = Houston Texans

I think another quote should be added here from David Carr. I started another thread calling for him to be benched. The leader of our offense states that he has no confidence in the last paragraph in this article.

"Having (Johnson) out there gives us a chance of at least being able to throw the ball up," Carr said. "When he's not out there, it's hard to just throw the ball down the field and hope that they come down with it. Until we get some more work with the guys who are out there right now and get my confidence up in them where I can do that, then it's hard to just lob it out there."

I agree it looked like Dunta was playing 1 against 11 when the defense was on the field.
