Hey guys, not here to run any smack. Some of you (texans84, filogirl) may know me from the Jags board. Figured that since the Jags board hardly ever works and the mods are complete jackarses, Id come talk to some Texan fans.

Just thought Id come over and see whats goin on, both of our teams seem to be sucking it up this year. Sorry for you guys, but at least some of you are keepin good spirits. The Jags got flat out owned this past sunday. Watching that game was like :brickwall but oh well, Im accustomed to our team blowing games at home.

So what do you guys think is gonna happen with the coaching staff and players after this year in houston? Do you think Carrs going to get the boot?

Carr's gonna stay. I think I'm about 70% sure that's a good thing.

And you are right about another thing - that Jaguars board sucks pretty hard.

Dont look past us yet! If your team does to us what the Texans did you will find yourselves wonderin what happened. Remember, we are the only team with a non losing record (i think) that youve faced!

Things are still in the air over on this side as far as our team goes. Hopefully we'll beat the Titans this weekend to give our team a much needed morale boost.

Welcome aboard! Nice to see a Jags fan that isn't all about trash talking.

Carr will play for the Texans next year. I'd put the chance of him leaving at less than 5% unless he completely implodes or gets seriously injured.

If we end up 8-8 or better then the coaching staff should be around for the final year of the infamous "5 Year Plan". Anything less and I doubt they survive. I think Casserly will survive no matter what.

What do I, as a fan, believe should happen?
Fangio (our DC) should be gone now with Capers becoming HC/DC. This season should be Capers last chance to right the ship. At the end of the season, regardless of the record, McNair needs to evaluate the future of the club and decide if Capers is part of it. I believe Capers has had his chance and it's time for a change before things get worse. Those first 2 games were as bad as any from the expansion year. That is unacceptable. The only reason I wouldn't bail on Capers right now is the lack of a replacement HC. I'm glad Palmer is gone but he would have been the best "Interim Head Coach".

Hey, I do my fair share of trash talking, and by no means like the texans ( just like you guys hate the jags) but Ive been readin the board over here for a while and I like the atmosphere over here. Even while you guys were losing there was still some comedy going on around here and I like that. At the jags board all you hear is ''bench leftwich, Matt jones is god.'' I like some of the texan fans!

As for palmer, he always sucked. Even when he was w/ Jacksonville he blew. Palmers a great D coordinator IMO, but from what Ive seen he just doesnt have what it takes to coach. I thought Carr was going to be a beast this year, I even drafted him in my fantasy league. Whats going on with him? Hows Dunta and Charles Rogers doing?

Ok, just to clarify...the first bold you mean Capers...right?

The second bold is Charles Rogers, and he plays for the Lions. You may be thinking Andre Johnson?

But to actually answer the question about Rogers, he's not doing to well considering he was just suspended by the NFL for smokin' the doobie.

I meant Palmer always sucked as an O coordinator, Capers always was a good D coordinator but doesnt have what it takes to coach, and yes I meant Andre Johnson.

Our teams played - yours won. But I gotta say your team did not leave me impressed. A team one player better than ours is going to kick their butts. So go back to your board and talk to us when your guys finish with that 8-8 record. I admit by January 2 we may be jealous of THAT. But I think most of the Texans fans on this board are not having a reality crisis.

Not sure if BengalStripes is looking past the Jags but I know I'M not! And I certainly hope Marvin and the boys are not either! Jags seem to be a bit of an enigma so far this year or have at least been quite erratic. WAY to dangerous to look past though.
Cats vs. Other Cats should be a good Sunday night match!
