Actually, with the job Marvin Lewis is doing in Cincinnatti, people are talking about how great he is. But trust me here guys, Coach Lewis will tell you himself, that Dom Capers is one of his top mentors. They worked together at Pukesburgh, & he has nothing but respect for the man! Everybody seems to want his head, But he can't put the pads on himself. He'll get you there!!! Just give him time.---WHO DEY!!! & enjoy the game!

He is a guy that makes a good defensive cordinator but a terrible head coach. I have never liked Capers and certainly didn't want him to come to Houston and have stated so plenty of times. Not just now that they have lost 2 games and looked absolutely clueless.

Marvin Lewis was on the NFL Network the other day, and all he basically talked about was how much he respected Dom, how much he learned from Dom, and that without Dom he wouldn't be where he is today...

Defense was already there, just became great but that was due to Marvin Lewis not Billick who is an offense guy.

No the defense wasn't already there, and the defense didn't become great until Billick got there Lewis was the DC from 96-01, Billick got there in 99...from Billick's profile...the 2000 Ravens' defense set the NFL's 16-game standard for fewest points (165). Prior to Billick's arrival in Baltimore in 1999, the Ravens' defense had been ranked no higher than 22nd in the league over the team's 1st 3 seasons. In each of Coach Billick's 1st 3 years as the Ravens' head coach, Baltimore's defense ranked 2nd in the league. In 2003 and 2004, the defense finished 3rd and 6th-best in the NFL, respectively.)

So Lewis is there 3 years, defense never ranked higher than 22nd, Billick gets there and the defense sets a record for fewest points allowed in Billick's 1st season. Billick's 1st 3 years defense is ranked 2nd each year. Yeah Billick had nothing to do with that defense. Just because a coach is labeled an "offensive coach" doesn't mean he has no clue about defense...
