Default Carr for Williams (either one)
This could potentially work. Lions would get that alternate option at QB, and we'd get a good #2 receiver in williams. next year we draft a QB 1 and OL 2 and a TE 3 and we're set!

That would be Awsome Oh wait wich Williams oh never mind any of them would be better than Carr but i doubt we would find any takers for carr especially when he will more than likely be and unrestricted Free Agent that will more than likely sign for the league minimum with any club that needs a future journey men.

Dude Carr is our guy. Our QB situation is still better than half the teams in the league. And who else you want to get in the draft that's going to out-perform Carr? Sorry, but we're not an expantion team anymore and I do NOT want to see another starting rookie QB leading Houston. You want to rebuild again?

Carr is proven NFL starter IMO and should be our starting QB for a while. Because we just are not going to get anyone better than Carr right now.

Roy or Mike? I have to assume your talking about Roy and I can honestly say the Lions aren't going to give up thier #1 for our embattled QB.

Heh??? Our QB situation is better than who's? What exactly has Carr proven?

There are several teams in the league with better backup QB's than Carr.

You can add Matt Schaub and Chris Simms to that list. Probably Mike McMahon also.

Big Dave could potentially be a very serviceable backup in the NFL, that's about it.

Don't get crazy, no Schaub. Definitely Not Simms!

I thought Mike McMahon possibly. He is 3rd on Eagles depth chart? Don't know why.

Carr is not a "proven starter" what has he proved? that he can throw more INT's than TD's, that's about it. Name 10 teams that have a worse starting QB than the Texans. Leinhart and Young would be better than Carr. You can't get much worse than what Carr's done this year. At least Young would run for a couple of TD's. Wake up. Carr's a pretty boy QB. I would say that we need to get some o-line in there before we totally give up on Carr. As for this season, I don't see much going for the Texans. 5 win's maybe 6 if they get lucky.
