does anyone else think we need to continue the benching of babin and buchanan...i can understand trying to make something more of babin but buchanan needs to be the 3rd corner on this roster...promote faggins to the starting role now capers before we turn into a touch football team...most pathetic tackle ever...can't believe we not only gave up 2 first day draft picks for this guy but we also let go a respectable veteran in aaron glenn

I'd bench Babin, Buchanan, and Bradford. killer "B"s? lol
Carr would be put on double-secret probation and benched if his next two games look even remotely like his last two games. |

I'd bench Buchanon and Bradford, install Andre as the deep threat(a la TO), use Armstrong and Gaffney in the slot, drop the 3-TE sets and put in more 4 or 5 WR sets.

played decent, notwithstanding the ball he dropped early in the game when he was wide open. I'd like to see the other 2 guys benched but that's virtually the same as placing a dunce cap on Casserlys head and I don't think that will happen. Ya gotta know that Capers also had to have a lot of input atleast the move to give up multiple draft picks for Babin, afterall Capers is the 3-4 guru and Babin was supposed to be the classic college DE tweener to play for him - remember how he compared him to someone who used to play for him in Pittsburgh - Kevin what-his-name who made it to the Pro Bowl. Regardless of what people say, politics exits in any corporate workplace and the Texans organization is a corparate workplace. |

Can we get Mathis in the game please? I know people feel like he's new and in experienced but when is experience going to come along? Why have him and not use him. You put him opposite of Andre and you have the threat of speed too. Get the TE's in the game for the 100th time. Maybe even double TE's with Mathis and Dre opposites.
Glad to see we started going 4 Wide a little even though it didn't work too tough. Let's get there!

Mathis was inactive I believe due to injury still. I believe when this kid comes in though you may see a different team. During the preseason this kid had the entire bench looking at him and giving him pats on the helmet. I believe he can bring the spark we need right now.
I too believe Buchanon needs to be a nickle back, and I hate we let go of Glenn (mmm...crowe). Charlie Anderson played very well in the preseason and I think it is time to see him come in. Even if they are not trying to start him. They need to treat him like Peek and bring him in to rush the passer. Okay, how come every time I see Shantee Orr he is close to the QB and causing problems? What is everyones opinion on our Safeties? Everytime we are getting beat deep, I see those guys nowhere in sight. I will leave that to our experts. It is pretty obvious that JWells is trying to be the spark for the offense. Lets get him the game more. |

let me ask ya'll this...does anyone else think casserly dropped the ball this offseason by not pursueing derrick mason or plexico burriss because he felt we had a good shot at troy williamson...this should teach him one thing...never rely on the draft for one player...always plan for the worst and hope for the best

I've got nothing against Bradford, but I think Armstrong is a better target for Carr. He seems to get open more often and can make the tough catchers. Bradford and AJ as the only two receivers on the field makes it way too easy for the opposing defenses. Bradford is a post or fly route runner period and when we know the blitz is coming that's just not enough.

I believe Armstrong just runs way better routes and has better hands to make adjustments.
