I thought about Jim Johnson last night. No other reason than Philly always has a good D. I dont know much else about him.

I would have to go with the Great Ray Charles. Hell, he could atleast have seen what needs to be done better than the current management and coaching staff.

Jim Fassel - took the gaints to the big show. Had the leadership to take away the play calling from the OC when not happy with calls.

Pete Carrol - NFL record not great but he is a good coach and look at other coaches that it took awhile to take that next step (Belichick). It would be great if we could keep Capers as DC.

Jim Fassel is a real possibility. While the Ravens Offense sucks, he doesnt have the skill positions to make his system work.

I would be happy with anyone exceot Capers really. Preferably someone who runs a tight shift and wont take **** from players or assistant coaches. Need a leader, not a note taker...

I want to see someone who is hard nosed. Someone that doesnt take it easy on the players. I want the players to FEAR the coach. No easy offseason days. No easy preseason days. Full pads all out. A coach that will head butt the players with helmets on. We need passion and desire!

Bucs gave him an outrageous contract to stay and run the D. There was a big push a few years ago to give a HC job, Bucs squashed that real quick.

Jimmy Johnson just doesnt feel right to me. Maybe its because he was a cowgirl or maybe it was because he was bad in Miami... I just dont want to see this guy on our sideline.

From CNNSI:

Three names that are now officially on everyone's coaching hot-seat list: Minnesota's Mike Tice, who may not make it out of October, Houston's Dom Capers and the Texans' equally beleaguered offensive coordinator, Chris Palmer.

One Down, One to Go....

Jeff Fisher, if possible.

Houston Oiler player, currently has a bad team with no superstar QB to take over the reins for McNair, and is tough as nails and doesn't let his team have any doubts during any bad circumstances.

He can do it. Just not sure if the contract situation allows it.

Jimmy Johnson is the sexy pick right now. He did well with a Cowboys team that resembles our team: Bad o line, but great QB/RB/WR trio.

We just need all those Herschel Walker picks, and JJ could do the job.

That Kiffin guy is pretty impressive.
Bob Stoops? not bad. He's doing a great job at OU.
Jimmy Johnson? Someone touched on that a few posts up that he was able to make the QB, WR, and RB shine despite a lack luster O-line. Aside from visiting w/ Katrina evacuees at the Astrodome alongside McNair... I wonder why else he was in town

There are some pretty good coaches in there based on the short descriptions - well except for Chain Gailey. He was still a puppet in my mind at Dallas.

Jeff Fisher? That would be awesome.
