Actually, this team needs a gameplan and some playmakers worse. Their confidence was shot before they ever stepped foot on the field today. Are we supposed to cheer when they do something stupid? The players would think we'd gone NUTS. Poor play deserves to be booed on occasion. This season is turning into one of those occasions.

The crowd DID cheer today when the Texans did something right; it's a shame that there weren't many instances that called for it.

I was about to say something similar.... those same fans that where booing...where going crazy when we started the second half with a TD.... the fans want to see this teah do well, but as mentioned above-- they arnt going to cheer when they make boneheaded plays as they have been doing 2 weeks in a row

IMO, booing seldom has any sort of positive effect ie. better performance, which I believe is what is wanted. However, cheering has been shown to have a positive effect. So...cheering makes more sense. May not feel as good, but is more likely to have the desired effect. Changes to the teams personel will be a direct result of the wins and losses.

well sorry to say but fans are not going to cheer 8 sacks, and other poor plays... no teams fans in any pro league would.... if you wanna agree people perform better with support rather than boo's.... we all know that, but I am not going to be raped of my money and clap my hands at the same time... sorry I dont swing that way

I agree, it's hard to justify paying hundreds of dollars for season tickets and they can't even put a competetive team on the field. I too feel season ticket sales will drop off, including mine.

We boo and chear at the same game. If booing hurts their confidence, they might want to play golf. We need to boo so McNair will hear us. We all need to call and complain. This is a joke. We pay way to much money for this product with no return policy. The Texans even told me the first year that my PSL would probably go up in value in 3-4 years. They told me about other PSL's that trippled in 4 years. I was also told I had to buy a PSL to have my rights to buy again next year. This was a lie. The upperdeck seats are not PSL's, but they get to buy their seats again. They were supposed to get back in line and not be assured seats. So right now I feel ripped and I want to boo. Unless you want to buy my PSL's at 2x's what I paid for them.

Sounds to me like the only reason you bought your tickets was to make some money....

If you pay good $ for your seat, are forced to sit in 95 degree heat, pay $7 for a beer, and watch a train wreck in return then you as a TRUE fan have every right to show your displeasure.

If you can't understand this then you are probably on of the many bandwagoners at the game yesterday...

Well if YOU are a true fan, you guys would not be sitting here moaning about money, you would just be happy to get the chance to see your favorite team play live, whether they win or lose. And A bandwagon fan, I think not buddy, I have seen every game since game 1, bought all of my Texans gear before the first season, I support my team no matter what, and if you would ever walk into my house the first thing you would know about me is I am a bigtime Texans fan. Just because I don't cry about the money I spend on tickets, food, and merchandise doesn't make me a bandwagon fan, kind of makes YOU a bandwagon fan who sounds like he is ready to hop right off the wagon...

It must be nice to have plenty of money to not have to worry about paying too much for a bad product. I am not a bandwagon fan at all. I love this team. I get on to my children when they screw up. (I also pay a lot of money for them) To think people shouldn't complain about money is an insult. I have spent 13 years risking my life for this city and getting paid peanuts for it. I can't afford to waste money, and this is looking like a waste. These players and coaches get paid millions. Also on the PSL being said to be worth more, I wouldn't want to sell it if we were a contender. I was using this as an example of how this team is failing to be the product they acted like they would give us.

Default McNair should offer ticket holders refunds

I mean, you go see a profession football game for 1 of a few things:

1. Good football - Nope, not here in houston
2. Fun experience - Sitting in 120 degree heat with the roof open? nope
3. Novelty - we are a 4th year team. not an expansion

You act like this was a stock investment gone wrong or something...Do you expect them to win every game and go to the Super Bowl every year? We are in the 4th year of an expansion team, I was ready to go through a couple of losing seasons...But if this is your attitude about the situation you probably would be better off selling your PSL's...

Is there a guarantee on the back of the ticket for any of the 3 listed?

Don't you see that we've already experienced the losing seasons? 7-9 is NOT GOOD, and that was our best season. i think what he was upset about is that an expansion team is not supposed to go from bad to mediocre and then back to bad again. With the progress this team is making, it is going to take decades to amass a winning record. By your fourth year (after having 3 losing records) you should have a core of young, budding players mixed in with key veteran FA acquisitions and at least show SOME sigs of progress. Why pay loads of money for tickets if the games are such huge blowouts that you can leave in the 3rd quarter and really only miss another few 3 and outs? I understand that tickets should not be thought of as a money making investment, but at the same time, the people here not complaining about paying too much need to take off their red and blue glasses and realize that it simply is NOT FUN to watch your team get their tails handed to them year in and year out and show no signs of progress. Couple that with 120 weather and I can see why the fans are pissed. :brickwall

I can't sell my PSL's. First because I am a fan. The second reason would have to be that I would not be able to get my money back. If this team was 0 - 2 with playing two good games, I would be fine with that. But counting the last two pre-season games the Texans have played four bad games. Something must change. If you are a true fan you would also realize that this team has been a few bad coaching decisions from a playoff race each year. It was not a finacial decision for me, it was a football fan decision. That being said, with my small bank account I won't buy an old Ford Pinto before I buy a new Chevy. I spend my money wisely and on good products. The Texans told us they were planning on producing and I want to see it.

I am not saying no one has the right to be pissed, and I am not saying fans do not have the right to voice their opinion, what I am saying is why complain about spending the money? It's football, you win some and lose some. But it this way, would you rather to be able and go watch the Texans every Sunday, or would you rather have no team to watch on Sundays, the way we had it for several years. I know I pick the having the Texans anyday...

Losing to a good team can be fun. Just not the way the Texans are doing it. Losing to Green bay last year? awesome. Vikings? super fun. New England? Great game, and the list goes on and on. Our last 4 games (including preseason) and last 3 games (regular season only) have been as fun as getting poked in the eye. If we were competitive, it could have been great. But we weren't, and thats why its not fair to charge so much.

If it was all or nothing, your right, i wuold rather watch a bad home team than no team at all, but it shouldn't be that we have to choose between those two.

All I am saying is I feel lucky and proud to have the Texans here in Houston, although I will criticize the team and get PO'ed at them, I won't complain on the money I spend on tickets, food, beer, hats, posters, flags, and shirts, because IMO it is a privilege to have football here in Houston. And even when they look as bad as they have the last two weeks I'll still fly my Texans flag....
