More and more, Carr looks more like a back-up than a starter. As a matter of fact, Carr has not impressed me at all since he came to the Texans. If Capers does not get at least to the playoffs, it's time for him to go and take Carr with him.

Im sure Carr would love that too , because behind any other coaching staff and Offensive line Carr would flurish into a great QB

sick of the select few blameing Carr , its not Carr hard to throw from on your back and if you cant keep a consistant running game going you have nobody to pass too . you cant gain any confidence when the Oline is so inconsistant

He scrambles out of the pocket almost every play and passes side armed a lot

Very true. The successful offenses run the ball well and use the pass to offset that. It's just football 101.
David seems to be running for his life most of the time. Maybe he's a frustrated RB rather than a QB. |

He's not mentally making sound decisions and seems to be rushing things.
It's almost as though he wants to run every single play rather than pass. |

if we keep carr it would cost us to much money i agree keeping carr for the league minimum other than that it would be too much.

To beat Pittsburgh we cannot make mistakes. Yet we're making mistakes. We have to stop their offense and so far we haven't. We need to get some offense going yet nothing seems to work. I don't know. Maybe it's our new offensive scheme...

Two things- first, why won't Carr throw the ball away instead of running out of bounds? Second, it kind of sums up the Texans offensive strategy when Carr is running to his left while the receiver is opened on his right...side thought, game planning???

Pittsburgh is probably one of the top 3 teams in the league....they are a solid SB contender.
It was going to take a very nice offensive showing from the Texans to stay with those guys. They don't look mentally right and they make stupid mistakes. Can't do that against those guys. They're too darn good. |
