Thomas Being Added to the Practice Squad Tue, 13 Sep 2005 22:24:31 -0700 The Nashville City Paper reports the Tennessee Titans are in the process of adding WR Sloan Thomas to their practice squad. He was released by the Houston Texans at the end of training camp. He is expected to practice with the team Wednesday, Sept. 14. |

Well, I'm glad he signed on with another team.
But I'm not happy that it was a division rival. But I wish him the best of luck, reguardless of where he ends up. |

Met Sloan several times (very nice guy and shy like AJ is) and was really banking on him being one of 'us' again. Darn.

He went to a HS just a few minutes up the road from my house, I think he was a senior when I was a freshman (Went to Klein Oak that year, Klein Collins the other 3. Sloan went to Klein HS. Yes, there's another one, Klein Forest, but it's irrelevant to the story.) Anyway, it would have been nice to see a local guy make it on the team, but hopefully he will find success somewhere, as long as it isn't at Houston's expense.
