Carr refuses to step into the pocket. He drops and if his first choice reciever is not open he looks to jump outside to either drop off to DD or run. It's blantly obvious now that after the beating he has taken the first few years that it may be a trait he will not be able to change. The pocket was there many times today, and if he would have just steped into it valuable time would have been gained for a 2nd or 3rd choice reciever.

The O-line picked up right where they left off last year, and so did Palmer with his play calling. Can you fire an entire O-line? |

By the way Texans, putting all rivalries aside, please pray and hope for the best for Coach Paul Boudreau, our Offensive Line Coach, who went down in the locker room. EMT's were sent in. We have no more news as of right now. Thank you. |

Ragone or Banks should start IMHO. Sorry Texans, but I don't see how Carr is going to excell in this league. Yes, part of the blame is on that horrendous O-Line, but he made some BAD decisions today (ie: throwing into double coverage).

Offensive line has set him up for failure. Not to mention the play calling. I could see it now, if Carr was w/ another team w/ an O'line that will give him the time and coverage needed to make plays. He goes on to be a better QB than here.
I say there needs to be a change of coaches. |

Well, Joey Harrington already has a TD pass this year. Carr stunk it up today, but until he gets a better line and better receivers, we will never know if he can play QB in this league. Our line consists of a bunch on nobodies, and the receiver core has one player, a speedster with stone hands (which no other team wanted when he was a FA this year, so we take him back), and a Gaffeny turn around and look for the ball.

ya know that is what makes me really freakin angry.
Carr had (yes HAD) a slew of talent. he had a great attitude.. he had all the intangibles. hes a great guy with a great family.. and we have basicly killed his career. |

If he doesn't throw into double coverage, it's all about "Carr doesn't take any chances, he always dumps it off to DD". You guys whine all the time about not giving Andre a chance down the field. He did, it didn't work out, and now it was a BAD decision? If you don't want bad decisions, don't whine when he dumps the ball off. Ragone and Banks are statues in the pocket compared to Carr. If you start them, you're looking at 8 sacks a game, minimum. |

ok what about his fumble and stand there and look at it roll around on the ground at his feet?? the only texan to try for it was McKinney
numerous times throw into double coverage and triple coverage lets not blame the oline completely carr had plenty to do with that bad play also, he needs to get his head out of the clouds and get to work ............. Dont forget to blame the rb's for not picking up the blitz ..... |

I can't blame Carr I would throw the ball away to if it would get me off the field. It's going to be a long season ,we might win 5 maybe 6 games.I sure hope I'm wrong.
