Detroit looks horrible...Harrington looks bad from what I have seen...I can't figure it out, they have a good RB and 3 good WR's...Harrington just looked like a ballerina lol...

I've only been watching a few minutes but lately Harrington has looked pretty good. Evading the blitz pretty well and made a nice pass to Roy, even though the CB did lose sight of the ball.

Harrington was facing all kinds of pressure from the Rams defense, but Detroit's defense looked horrible. St. Louis was averaging 8 yards per play for the game midway through the 4th. They also haven't made the Rams punt the ball yet. They're missing Rogers, but it looks like the whole D failed to show up tonight.

Our Oline just made the 2002 Texans look good. If you as Texan fans don't have any empahty for what Joey just went through, then I don't know what could be wrong with you. Joey looked great when he had a chance to set his feet in something as simple as a quick 3 step drop. Even that was rare. Our Oline should return it's pay checks for that game.

Raiola looked awful. He was just manhandled by the Rams DTs. Harrington was lucky to make it through that performance w/o getting injured. Guess he got a taste of what it was like to be David Carr the last few years. The play where Jones got flattened by Claiborne who then sacked Harrington was ugly. If Detroit doesn't get that fixed they'll be having a very frustrating year.

last 3 Drafts and every time they take a WR ! I dunno.....didn't anybody explain to the front office picking personnel that no matter how good your receivers are, makes no difference if the QB doesn't have time to get the pass away. At the very least, trade one of those top 10 pick away to move back and get multiple mid rounders to build the nucleus of a young but developing OL. On the subject of Rams' Jackson, this guy is really going to be something special - 3 of the top 5 in this years draft were RBs and clearly none of them are in the same class as Jackson. Jackson lasted until 24 ? Clearly a lot of people missed him, or 2004 really was a tremendous Draft and 2005 really was a crappy Draft. I remember seeing him in his last college game - Bowl game late in 2003 and all I could think of was Bo Jackson because he had such a tremendous combo of size and speed. |

I watched some of the game early and didn't see anything of Alex Barron, the
Rams top pick this year and an offensive tackle thought to have potential in the NFL as a LT and as the future replacement for the Rams Hall Of Famer-to-be OP. Anyway, checked out the Rams DC and they are carrying Barron as the #3 guy - at RT. I've heard this guy was struggling and its certainly too soon to call him a bust, but it ain't sounding too good for him so far. I take my shots at Cass now and then for some of his picks but I want to give him credit again for avoiding and not making the choice of the wrong person to be our long term LT. |

Kelly Butler is the only guy who looked like he knew what he was doing And he is the least experienced lowest paid man on the line. Woody, highest paid gaurd in the NFL Backus a 5 year Vet in a contract year Riaola, just got a new 5 year deal.... ughhh whoops Demulling, we signed this offseason to improve the position Butler should be moved to Left Tackle after that, because Backus getting pushed back a FULL 8 yards is pathetic. Joey is dead, he's dead, there is no way he survives this season. I respect David Carr alot right now. He was able to survive. Joey isn't that nimble.

Was it me, or did Garcia look like he was 50? I mean he looked like he just woke up from the side of the street, with a empty 12 pack around his ankles.

The rams looked pretty good this game. Nice offense and a decent D. Detroit reminded me of a neighborhood pickup team.
